Not really something recent, but this is me missing the sun (rain = hassle in everything), the sea and traveling in general.
1 week before school starts! Gulp.
The Ramp Crossings: A Mixology of Style; Phil Fashion Week Holiday 2012 Collection
Photo-heavy post ahead!
A closing door opens new opportunities. I’m very blessed to be able to intern for The Ramp Crossings in Philippine Fashion’s Most Important Week, the PhFW! More kwentos as the photos roll :)
The set design for the runway show. It’s inspired by the stores you see in Italy, Paris and France- with a hint of the collection’s overall look of course! Peplums, paisley, color and a whole lot of print. It wasn’t overall pink, those are mood lights behind the mannequins.
Did you know that each and every paper tucked there are handmade (with love)? Each are individually cut, painted and designed differently! It took us a day but it was all worth it. Also, one of the most interesting 12 hours of my life. I learned a lot (from fashion down to eras of different beauty queens, haha) and met a lot of inspiring people. To Ms. Renee, Ms. Dana, Ms. Camille, Ate Che and Sir Melvin, I salute you all!

The show was styled by no other than Daryl and Andre Chang, directed by Robby Carmona. I’m still having a major LSS with the show’s soundtrack!

With close friends and also internmates, Nea and Madel :)
