Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2012 Sony Presents: Premiere A Collection

Photo-heavy post ahead!

SONY partnered with Philippine Fashion Week for the Premiere A Collection featuring the works of Dimple Lim, Jeffrey Rogador, Odelon Simpao, Roland Lirio and Xernan Orticio. Thanks for this, Madel!

The show started off with a few laptop units modeled around. I wanted a Vaio for myself before, too!

On to the show! For more photos, you can check them out HERE.

Dimple Lim’s collection played on leather, cuts and fabric blocking. I particularly loved the edginess of the designs! Lakas maka-sexy

Sarah Meier-Albano closing for Dimple Lim

Jeffrey Rogador’s collection pursued the neutrals for men and women. By the way, he took up CFAD-Adver, too! #whoruntheworld #inspiration

Aside from peplums, transparent clothing pioneered their way this season!

Odelon Simpao went hardcore on hardware accents and the metallics. Me gusta!

In love with this almost-olive/gold metallic bodycon dress. I wish I have the body for it. Sigh.

Dress above = euphoria. That cut!

Roland Lirio showcased a bit of metallic play as well, with a touch of light rust and black accents.

Ecstatic with this blazer’s details! So so so flattering

Supermodel Danica Magpantay closing for Roland Lirio (she modeled for Jeffrey, too)

Xernan Orticio striked the night with his Stigmata-inspired, all-scarlet minimalist chic collection topped with barbed crowns and glitter encrusted lips. My favorite color, made fiercer!

Dinner at Resorts World Manila with sister after. Fun day!

The Ramp Crossings: A Mixology of Style; Phil Fashion Week Holiday 2012 Collection

Photo-heavy post ahead!

A closing door opens new opportunities. I’m very blessed to be able to intern for The Ramp Crossings in Philippine Fashion’s Most Important Week, the PhFW! More kwentos as the photos roll :)

The set design for the runway show. It’s inspired by the stores you see in Italy, Paris and France- with a hint of the collection’s overall look of course! Peplums, paisley, color and a whole lot of print. It wasn’t overall pink, those are mood lights behind the mannequins.

Did you know that each and every paper tucked there are handmade (with love)? Each are individually cut, painted and designed differently! It took us a day but it was all worth it. Also, one of the most interesting 12 hours of my life. I learned a lot (from fashion down to eras of different beauty queens, haha) and met a lot of inspiring people. To Ms. Renee, Ms. Dana, Ms. Camille, Ate Che and Sir Melvin, I salute you all!

The show was styled by no other than Daryl and Andre Chang, directed by Robby Carmona. I’m still having a major LSS with the show’s soundtrack!

With close friends and also internmates, Nea and Madel :)

Pre-show photo and work mode face. (Thanks Nea for some photos!)

The Ramp Kids! Everybody were in awe of them.

Yummy, yummy shoes! Nea and I wish these come in ladies’ sizes, too! ;)

Pauline Prieto walked too! So fierce.

Designer Macel Pangan, Xandra Ramos-Padilla of The Ramp with her daughter and Creative Director Mario Barrientos. Kudos to a very chic collection! Can’t wait to attack The Ramp branches ;)

After show photos! Since Fashion Week doesn’t come too often, please excuse me as I spazz a bit :p Patricia Prieto is so pretty and sexy! I wish her bff Camille Co went too :( Dying to meet these bloggers!

Also spotted: Star Couple Troy Montero and Aubrey Miles!

(Still can’t get over this) Daryl Chang and my totally spazzing face!!

Dinner with internmates after (missing in this photo: Andrea and Cheenee)

With Ms. Dana, a CFAD graduate! #whoruntheworld

Thank you for the amazing opportunity to take part of this, The Ramp! It was a big learning experience and I’m beyond grateful for it.

Supernatural.

I don’t care how much this may scream hipster to you (though I do believe I’m not, jsyk. I think this may be from my love of anything futuristic.) but I really really really really want a galaxy dress! Or any apparel with that galactic goodness

Hypnotic, isn’t it?

Okay, I think we may want to have a shut eye for a good minute or two with all that glitter overload..

Fashion Watch 2012

Last night (11.04.11), Geeni and I attended Fashion Watch 2012 at the Rizal Ballroom, Makati Shangri-la hotel huge thanks to Ms. Trish Velarmino!

The Fashion Watch Quartet (brainchild of Inno Sotto and Richard Tann) Year-Ender Show featured the collection of today’s premiere designers: Ferdi Abuel, Ivarluski Aseron, Alex Bitong, JC Buendia, Ito Curata, Patrice Diaz, Jun Escario, Joel Escober, Arcy Gayatin, Oj Hofer, Francis Libiran, Jojie Lloren, Dennis Lustico, Jerome Lorico, Len Nepomuceno, Norman Noriega, James Reyes, Philip Rodriguez and Lulu Tan-Gan.

Not much pre-cocktail photos because my camera suddenly acted up. Big sigh of relief though when it came back to life again during the show itself!

On to the photos!

A few inspiring words by the Inno Sotto himself.

I’m so gaga over this.

this.

and especially this! Dear body fat, ain’t the hot Philippine weather enough to melt you off?

I can already imagine Tessa Prieto-Valdes in these!

Ecstatic over this!

Lulu Tan-Gan!! Did you know she took up Advertising Arts at UST too? #proudthomasian #proudka-cfad #proudka-adver #inspiration

We killed off some time at Glorietta after, then finally had my dose of Toffee Nut Frap! Check out the Starbucks 2012 planners.

I will try to blog more about this soon, but here’s a glimpse of that night. This was Lulu Tan-Gan’s piece and obviously one of my faves. I dig the look, too. Fresh, noh?

Philippine Fashion Week ‘11: Penshoppe

This season, Penshoppe steps up with its campaign, “Trailblazer” — the collection depicts those who conduct their lives off the beaten path: an innovator and pioneer, as it were.

I was having a pretty rough Sunday but instead of sulking in the corner, I grabbed this opportunity (to change scenery) and even with eyes all puffed, off we go to SMX! Huuuuge thanks to Geeni for everything!

(Edit: I still didn’t have my telephoto lens with me that time, so these were taken with a 50mm)

Victor Basa and Solenn Heussaff!

^HAHAHA ME GUSTA

Penshoppe answered all my blazer prayers. Search for the perfect military blazer is finally over! *camps out at penshoppe stores*

Self-manicured nails done once upon a girly time with R and N. Some are starting to chip off, though! Boo.

Late dinner after at A Veneto, MOA. Delicioso!

27 Mar I finally have my dream laptop skin!! It’s not G-Mask but hey, who’s complaining? :) Happy Bananas!
